Figure 7A: Immobilized C. vulgaris cells, untreated, and imaged with fluorescence lifetime contrast and selective plane illumination. 3D projection rotating around the Y axis.
Video of fluorescence lifetime images acquired with 1 um axial spacing and showing immobilized live control C. vulgaris cells without DCMU treatment in a rotating projection around the Y axis. The cells were live and dark acclimed during the imaging. The fluorescence lifetime of those cells is intrinsic without any drug effect.
Fluorescence lifetime microscopy with QuantiCam SPAD array sensor. 60x 1.49 NA oil objective, and Mizar Tilt selective plane illumination module. Cells were immobilized in low melting temperature agarose.
