Video of fluorescence lifetime images acquired with 1 um axial spacing and showing immobilized live C. vulgaris cells in a 3D projection rotating around the X axis. The cells were live and dark acclimed during the imaging. Part of the cells were untreated and part were treated with DCMU to form a mixture of both cell types. The fluorescence lifetime is differs between the cells in the field of view, depending on their exposure to DCMU.
